This page of my blog will contain a list of links to a variety of different sources, all relevant to the subject of sweatshops that I have come across during the posting of subject matter.
Please take a second to have a look at the following sources, since all of them contain extensive information which is useful to gain insight into this problem and how you, as a consumer, can do your part to make a difference.
War On Want – A fantastic organisation whose aim is to “fight poverty in developing countries in partnership and solidarity with people affected by globalisation.” They campaign for the rights of workers and fight for the eradication of global poverty and inequality. A highly recommended website!
The Ethical Trading Initiative – An alliance of companies, non-governmental organisations and trade union organisations. They have all signed up to the initiative to try and improve the implementation of corporate codes of practice which cover supply chain working conditions.
